Back in 2011, David Silver had acquired 33 of these bikes in all kinds of conditions and offers were still flooding in.

Why the CB400F?

In early 2012 David Silver embarked on a project that would grab the interest of the motor biking world. He decided to run a mass restoration of CB400Fs, one of the most popular classic Hondas in the UK. By tackling the mass restoration at once the cost of individual parts will be reduced.

From his database of over 6000 Honda enthusiasts, he was able to track down and acquire restoration projects relatively easy.

The CB400F is the model DSS has sold the most parts for and has the biggest database of customers for. The project will benefit future customers by helping the reduce the cost of the CB400F parts they sell.

This Blog follows the restoration project and also the fascination with the CB400F itself.

I am not a bike enthusiast nor a speed freak of any sort (although I have been caught speeding 4 times now) but I am intrigued to see what all the fuss is about and see if I can't become a huge fan of the bike myself. ~~ Jacqui
